The Greenstone G-PickClad® Automatic Pick Cutter Laser Cladding System is an intelligent automated laser cladding solution specifically developed for the remanufacturing, wear protection, and surface strengthening of mining picks, roadheader cutters, trenching tools, and other high-wear industrial cutting components. The system integrates precision linear modules, dual-axis positioners, and automatic loading and unloading systems to achieve efficient, continuous, and highly consistent automated production.
Designed for direct metal additive manufacturing and precision repair applications, the equipment supports high-efficiency processing of multiple metal powder materials for wear-resistant coating and surface enhancement. With intelligent centralized control architecture, servo-driven motion systems, precision laser cladding heads, and advanced powder feeding technology, the system delivers stable operation, accurate coating geometry, rapid forming capability, and flexible process adjustment. Application Case
The original hardness of the area to be repaired of the pick of the coal mining machine drill bit is about HRC50. After cladding treatment, the effect is shown in the figure below. The hardness of the cladding layer has reached HRC55 after testing.
