Mobile Robotic Laser Cladding System for On-Site Metal Repair and Remanufacturing

Presentation of the equipment's characteristics

The GMLAM-6000 Mobile Robotic Laser Cladding System is a fully integrated mobile laser cladding solution specifically designed for on-site repair, industrial remanufacturing, wear-resistant coating, and metal additive manufacturing of large or non-movable components. Combining a high-power fiber laser, industrial robot, precision powder feeding technology, intelligent motion control, and a compact mobile platform, the system enables high-quality laser cladding directly at customer facilities without transporting heavy workpieces.

The equipment integrates a high-power fiber laser source, precision laser cladding head, industrial water chiller, carrier-gas powder feeder, centralized electrical control cabinet, industrial robot, voltage stabilizer, and mobile workstation into a compact all-in-one platform. The highly integrated design minimizes installation time while improving mobility between different production areas and maintenance locations.

Its robotic multi-axis motion system provides flexible processing of complex geometries, curved surfaces, cylindrical components, and large industrial structures. All critical process parameters—including laser power, focal position, scanning speed, powder feed rate, shielding gas flow, and robot trajectory—can be independently programmed for stable, repeatable, and highly efficient laser deposition.

Designed for field service and industrial maintenance, GMLAM-6000 significantly reduces equipment transportation costs and production downtime while delivering dense metallurgical bonding, low dilution, excellent dimensional accuracy, and minimal post-machining. It is an ideal solution for heavy industries requiring rapid on-site component restoration and surface enhancement.

Mobile Integrated Design

The compact all-in-one structure allows the complete system to be easily transported between different workshops and maintenance sites without repeated disassembly or complex installation.

Designed for On-Site Repair

Ideal for repairing large, heavy, or fixed workpieces that cannot be conveniently transported to conventional manufacturing facilities.

High-Efficiency Robotic Automation

The industrial robot performs fully automated multi-axis laser cladding with excellent positioning accuracy, consistent quality, and high production efficiency.

Stable Metallurgical Bonding

Optimized laser energy distribution and precision powder feeding produce dense clad layers with low dilution and excellent metallurgical bonding to the substrate.

Outstanding Surface Quality

The deposited layer exhibits excellent dimensional accuracy, smooth surface finish, and coating height variation controlled within 0.3 mm, minimizing post-grinding requirements.

Intelligent Process Control

Laser power, spot position, scanning speed, powder feed rate, shielding gas flow, and robot motion parameters are digitally controlled for highly repeatable production.

Flexible Multi-Material Processing

Compatible with various engineering alloy powders for wear resistance, corrosion protection, dimensional restoration, and functional surface enhancement.

Low Heat Input

The precisely controlled laser process minimizes thermal distortion, reduces residual stress, and preserves the mechanical properties of the base material.

Reduced Operating Cost

The mobile platform eliminates unnecessary transportation of heavy components while reducing maintenance downtime and improving repair efficiency.

Wide Industrial Applications

Suitable for mining equipment, heavy machinery, steel manufacturing, power generation, oil & gas equipment, hydraulic components, engineering machinery, marine equipment, and other high-value industrial assets requiring on-site remanufacturing.
