Presentation of the equipment's characteristics
The Greenstone Compact Robotic DED/LMD Repair System is engineered for high-precision laser metal deposition on small-to-medium parts, focusing on precision repair and in-situ process development for new materials and new manufacturing methods. It is widely suited to aerospace, mold & die, and R&D laboratories, where flexibility, repeatability, and controlled atmosphere performance are critical.
Built around a compact, rigid structure, the system delivers strong capability while keeping a small footprint, helping users reduce floor space requirements and lower operating and maintenance costs. A flexible deposition head configuration is available, including annular powder feeding or internal powder feeding options (with optional focused/variable spot capability), enabling stable processing for demanding repair scenarios—such as thin-wall features and blade-type components—where access, heat input control, and track consistency matter.
To support stable long-run operation and process repeatability, Greenstone integrates an upgraded gas purification architecture with optimized pipelines and filtration, enabling low oxygen content (≤ 50 ppm) under inert atmosphere conditions. The system also supports intelligent operation & maintenance functions such as equipment status monitoring, fault diagnosis, historical data traceability, and permission-based management—ideal for both production and research environments.
Compact, rigid machine structure: Small footprint helps save space and reduce operating/maintenance costs.
Precision repair + in-situ R&D ready: Ideal for aerospace, tooling, and research applications requiring controlled deposition.
Flexible powder-feeding configurations: Optional annular or internal powder feeding deposition head solutions; internal feeding can be configured for focused/variable spot capability.
Multi-axis repair capability: B/C axis motion supports complex orientations and hard-to-reach areas for repair tasks.
Low-oxygen inert atmosphere performance: Upgraded gas purification system supports oxygen ≤ 50 ppm for stable deposition quality.
Intelligent O&M functions: Status monitoring, fault diagnosis, historical data query, and permission management for safer, more traceable operation.
Wide material compatibility: Supports common engineering metals and specialized powders for repair and process development.
