Presentation of the equipment's characteristics

The Greenstone High-Power Coaxial 4-Point Laser Cladding Nozzle is engineered for high-efficiency DED/LMD laser cladding on large workpieces where high powder throughput, long working distance, and stable deposition quality are required. Compared with coaxial annular and 3-point designs, this 4-point configuration delivers a larger powder spot and longer standoff, making it especially suitable for high-productivity cladding with high-power laser sources.

With four symmetrically distributed powder streams, the nozzle forms a balanced, direction-independent powder focus that supports stable melt pool behavior and consistent track formation across complex toolpaths. This helps improve coating uniformity, reduces typical cladding defects, and increases powder utilization—especially when matched with high-power / large-spot lasers for faster coverage and higher deposition rates.

Built with high thermal conductivity copper (purple copper) and designed for industrial operation, the nozzle integrates robust cooling and stable powder delivery for continuous production. A key advantage is its modular internal tip (core insert) design, which allows the use of different specifications of precision sleeves/liners to enhance wear resistance. Users can also replace the internal insert, extending nozzle service life and lowering maintenance cost over time—ideal for repair and surface strengthening of heavy-duty components.

processed samples
  • Stable coaxial powder-feeding process: Helps prevent defects such as porosity, waviness, and direction-related inconsistency.

  • Excellent powder stream focusing: Precisely matches powder focus with the laser spot, maximizing powder utilization.

  • Adaptive deposition thickness control: Reduces uneven cladding thickness, improving repeatability and process stability.

  • Uniform powder distribution (direction-independent): Four-stream symmetry delivers consistent results regardless of travel direction and contour.

  • Large spot + long standoff capability: Ideal for large-area cladding and high-efficiency deposition with high-power laser systems.

  • Modular wear-resistant insert design: Supports different precision sleeve sizes to improve durability; internal insert can be replaced by the user for longer service life and lower operating cost.

  • Copper body for thermal stability: High heat dissipation supports stable high-power cladding performance.
