GREENSTONE supplies a comprehensive range of high-purity elemental metal powders for advanced manufacturing, surface engineering, powder metallurgy, alloy development, thermal processing, electronics and industrial research applications.

Our elemental metal powder portfolio includes Tungsten (W), Nickel (Ni), Cobalt (Co), Chromium (Cr), Molybdenum (Mo), Copper (Cu), Aluminum (Al), Titanium (Ti), Silicon (Si), Zirconium (Zr), Silver (Ag), Tantalum (Ta), Manganese (Mn), Zinc (Zn), Vanadium (V), Niobium (Nb) and other metallic powders.

Depending on the material and intended process, powders can be supplied with different purity levels, particle size distributions and particle morphologies, including spherical, near-spherical and irregular powders. Selected grades are available for laser Directed Energy Deposition (DED), laser cladding, additive manufacturing, thermal spray, powder metallurgy and alloy preparation.

GREENSTONE can provide customized powder specifications according to the customer’s processing equipment, required particle size, chemical purity, powder morphology and final application.

High-Purity Metal Powders for Advanced Industrial Applications

Elemental metal powders are important raw materials for producing metal alloys, functional coatings, additive-manufactured components, sintered parts, electronic materials and advanced engineering materials.

Unlike pre-alloyed metal powders, elemental powders contain one primary metallic element and can be used independently or as feedstock for alloy development, powder blending, material research and customized metallurgical formulations.

Wide Range of Elemental Metals

GREENSTONE provides a broad portfolio covering refractory metals, transition metals, lightweight metals and conductive metals.

Nickel, cobalt and chromium powders are widely used as raw materials for corrosion-resistant, wear-resistant and high-temperature alloy systems.

Tungsten, molybdenum, tantalum and niobium powders provide excellent high-temperature characteristics and are important for refractory alloys, thermal applications and advanced material development.

Copper and silver powders offer excellent electrical and thermal conductivity for electrical, electronic and thermal-management applications.

Titanium and aluminum powders provide low density and excellent specific mechanical properties for aerospace, transportation and advanced manufacturing applications.

Controlled Purity

Different purity grades can be supplied according to the material and application, typically ranging from industrial grades to ≥99%, ≥99.5%, ≥99.9% and ≥99.99% high-purity grades for selected metals.

Actual purity specifications depend on metal type, production process and customer requirements.

Multiple Powder Morphologies

Depending on manufacturing route and application requirements, GREENSTONE elemental metal powders can be supplied as:

Sfäriskt pulver – optimized for applications requiring good flowability and consistent powder feeding.

Near-Spherical Powder – provides a balance between flowability, packing density and manufacturing cost.

Irregular Powder – commonly used for powder metallurgy, blending, chemical applications and specialized industrial processes.

Electrolytic Powder – available for selected metals requiring specific morphology, surface characteristics or purity.

Controlled Particle Size Distribution

Particle size distribution can be selected according to the manufacturing process. Typical ranges include:

15–45 μm, 15–53 μm, 45–105 μm, 53–150 μm, 75–180 μm and other customized particle size distributions.

Fine and ultrafine powders can also be supplied for selected materials and specialized applications.

Stable Powder Feeding

Spherical and classified powders provide improved flowability and more consistent powder feeding, which is particularly important for laser DED, laser cladding, LMD and automated powder delivery systems.

Raw Materials for Custom Alloy Development

Elemental powders can be blended to develop customized metal compositions for laboratory research, alloy development and specialized industrial applications.

This provides research institutes, universities and industrial R&D centers with greater flexibility when developing new alloy systems or studying composition-property relationships.
