Unlike coaxial designs, this nozzle adopts an off-axis (side) powder-feeding direction, delivering powder laterally into the process zone to support stable deposition with linear beam profiles—ideal for large-area cladding and high-throughput surface processing.
Developed by Greenstone for industrial reliability, the nozzle is designed to work with a gravity powder feeder, enabling carrier-gas-free powder feeding and reducing dependence on inert gas consumption for powder delivery.
