The principle of laser etching metal is to use the photothermal effect to evaporate or melt the metal surface material, thereby forming the required pattern or letters on the metal surface. The laser beam acts as a heat source, which produces absorption and reflection on the metal surface. When the laser beam irradiates the metal surface, the light energy is absorbed by the metal surface and converted into heat energy, which increases the temperature of the metal at the surface, thereby evaporating or melting the material on the metal surface.
