MKS Greenstone Wide-Band High-Efficiency Laser Cladding System is engineered for stable, high-throughput surface strengthening and repair, using a rectangular laser spot to create wide, uniform cladding tracks with excellent efficiency. The system converts the laser output into a rectangular beam profile, enabling broad-area cladding with consistent energy distribution—ideal for cylindrical parts and long components that require durable wear- and corrosion-resistant overlays.
With a heavy-duty machine-bed design and optimized powder feeding structure, Greenstone delivers reliable, continuous cladding performance. During operation, laser energy melts the incoming metal powder and a thin layer of the substrate surface, forming a metallurgical bond that produces a dense, high-quality wide-band coating. The system is designed for efficient production workflows, supporting continuous powder feeding so that single-track cladding can proceed without interruption.
