Presentation of the equipment's characteristics
The VIGA vacuum induction melting inert gas atomization powder making equipment introduced in this scheme is used to obtain alloy liquid flow by induction melting of a series of alloy raw materials under the working conditions of crucible/liquid guide tube, and atomize the alloy into spherical powder by high-pressure inert gas. The nozzle structure adopted by this VIGA equipment is a tightly coupled restricted annular hole nozzle. Features: The atomized powder has the advantages of high sphericity, controllable powder particle size, low oxygen content, low production cost and adaptability to the production of various metal powders. It has become the main development direction of high-performance and special alloy powder preparation technology. It can well meet the special requirements of 3D printing consumables metal powder. It is mainly used for the production of high-temperature alloys, aluminum alloys, copper alloys and other powders.
VIGA working principle:
The vacuum induction gas atomization furnace uses the medium frequency induction heating principle to heat the metal material in a vacuum or protective gas environment until it melts. The molten metal liquid is poured into the insulation sensor crucible through the sensor tilting mechanism. A guide pipe is provided at the bottom of the insulation sensor crucible. At the same time, an atomizing spray plate is installed at the bottom of the insulation sensor. The atomizing spray plate is connected to the guide pipe as a whole. After the metal liquid flows out through the guide pipe, the high-pressure gas sprayed from the spray plate breaks the metal liquid flow into fine metal droplets. During the flight of the droplets in the atomization barrel, they are cooled into metal powders of different particle sizes. After subsequent separation and collection, the required metal powder products are obtained.
